Dedicated chess computers in the 2020s
A major focus of this website will be to trace developments in dedicated chess computers, particularly those with online connectivity and functionality. Brands such as ChessUp, Millennium, DGT (Digital Game Technology) and Square Off have ushered in an era of rekindled interest in units that allow users to play a computer program, analyse their play using computer evaulations, and/or access online chess portals like Chess.com and Lichess.
Product reviews as well as reader feedback will provide opportunities for exploration in this burgeoning field. The reviews will take both video and written form as time unfolds.
